Murder case registered against SHO

OKARA: The Haveli police station registered a murder case against the SHO and police team of police station McLoad Ganj.
Reportedly, SHO Muhammad Akbar of PS McLoad Ganj, district Bahawalnagar, raided Sujjekay village in district Okara in the area of PS Haveli to arrest a proclaimed offender-cum-dacoit Nazir Ahmad, son of Muhammad Sadiq.
The PO escaped but police allegedly tortured to death his father.
The locals brought the dead body to the PS Haveli and protested against the Bahawalnagar police party. The Haveli police registered a murder case against 13 policemen including the SHO of the PS McLoad Ganj.
GAS LOADSHEDDING: The Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) has also started gas loadshedding in the city without any schedule for the last 20 days.
While no gas loadshedding was going on in the surrounding towns and cities.
The citizens protested against the gas loadshedding.
SNGPL local deputy chief Mehtab Baig was contacted repeatedly on phone but he did not attend the phone. The higher authorities are urged to look into the matter.
