Two XENs, four SDOs suspended for misdoings

GUJRANWALA: While initiating disciplinary action for misdoings, the Gepco chief executive officer has suspended two executive engineers and four sub-divisional officers. They include XENs Shafiqur Rehman and Shahbaz and SDOs Ziaullah, M Ashraf and M Moazzam.
EID SECURITY: Police have finalised security arrangements for Eid.
As many as 3,500 policemen would be deputed in and around 839 mosques and open places for security of Eid congregations while eight Elite Force teams will keep patrolling to avoid any untoward incident. A control room has been set up at the CPO office. Meanwhile, leaves of all policemen have been cancelled.
COPS PROMOTED: Regional Police Officer Faisal Shakir has promoted 134 head constables to the rank of ASI. The RPO has also promoted 17 ASIs to the rank of sub-inspectors.
