2 kids die after taking poisonous milk

OKARA: Two children died while three others fell unconscious after drinking poisonous milk at Gogera Town on Saturday.
Mudassar bought milk from a bazaar and gave to his children Alisha and Ali Abbas to drink. When the children took milk, they fell unconscious and died. Similarly, three other children of the town fell unconscious after drinking milk.
2 HELD WITH DEAD CHICKENS’ MEAT: Sadar Renala Khurd police on Saturday arrested two chicken sellers and recovered 600kg meat of dead chickens.
On a tip-off, the police raided at Mohallah Raja Town, Akhtarabad, and arrested Muhammad Nadeem and his servant Abdul Latif with 600kg meat of dead chickens. The police have registered a case.
180 BOOKED FOR WATER THEFT: On the report of the Canal Department SDO, police have registered cases against 180 landlords for stealing canal water.
The SDO raided at Rattekay village and found that 180 landlords, including Muhammad Umar, Babar Ali, Muhammad Saeed, Munsib, Anwar Hassan and Arif, were allegedly involved in stealing canal water.
Youth murdered for ‘honour’

OKARA: A youth was murdered for ‘honour’ on Attari Road on Saturday.
Kaneez Bibi and her son Shafiq, residents of Mohallah Islampura, were on their way when accused Muhammad Siddiq and his accomplices, Yasin and Ashiq, allegedly abducted Shafiq and took him to their dera where they allegedly killed him. Police have registered a case.
