MARDAN: A man was shot dead and three passers-by injured in the limits of City Police Station on Saturday, police said.
Khan Habib, a resident of Haji Koroona Baghdada, told the police that he along with his brothers Hazrat Habib and Sajjad Habib were present at a hujra last night when his cousins Amir Habib, Adnan Habib, Fawad Habib and Fazal Habib reached there and allegedly started firing over a property dispute. As a result, Sajjad Habib died while three passers-by identified as Akbar Ali, Samiullah and Imdadullah were injured.
The injured were shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital where their condition was stated to be stable.
