Local PPP, PML-N leaders join PTI

SIALKOT: Ch Maqbool Gujjar, a notable local leader of PPP and former member of AJK Legislative Assembly, and former district nazim Rana Ejaz, a local stalwart of PML-Q who had earlier joined PML-N, have joined PTI along with hundreds of supporters.
Both political figures made the announcements at Jinnah House, the local central office of PTI, on Wednesday. PTI District Organiser Umer Dar, Deputy District Organizer Barrister Jamshed Ghayas, former MPA from PPP Ch Tahir Mehmood Advocate, Mian Shakeel Advocate and others were also present on the occasion. Welcoming the new comers in the PTI, Dar said the popularity of PTI was on the rise and it had become the most favourite political party of a vast majority of people.
He said masses had become sick of the so-called politics of reconciliation by PPP and PML-N, which in fact was a joint venture of Zardari and Sharifs to loot and plunder the country. He added that the presentation of 150 mega corruption cases in the Supreme Court by National Accountability Bureau (NAB) had further exposed the corruption of the top leadership of PPP, PML-N, PML-Q and other parties.
He said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif and others mentioned in NAB cases must display some moral courage and immediately resign from their offices. He also criticised the slow process of accountability by the NAB and further vowed that when come into power, the PTI would hold all the corrupt elements accountable and punish them for there wrongdoings.
