FAISALABAD: Police on Wednesday claimed to have arrested three accused in a double murder case of Chak 50/GB, Nishatabad.
A raiding party headed by SP Madina Town arrested Muhammad Ali, Shahid Ali and Sarfraz Ali on the charge of killing their cousins Muhammad Nadeem and Muhammad Saleem (brothers) over Rs 500 dispute. The police traced the culprits within three days.
DIES IN ACCIDENT: A man was killed in an accident on Samundri Road near Raushan Wali Jhal.
Muhammad Naeem, a mechanical engineer of Chak 258/RB, was coming to Faisalabad on a motorcycle to appear in an interview with a local textile mills when a speeding truck (GM/8999) crushed him to death. The driver managed to escape from the spot, leaving the truck there. Later, truck was taken into custody by Dijkot police.
