MARDAN: Four people were killed in separate incidents in the district during the last 48 hours, the police said.
Shahid, resident of Suwaryan, told officials at the Toru Police Station that last night he along with his cousin Naveed Ali were standing outside a mosque when Tilawat Shah and his son Wahid Shah reached there and allegedly started firing, killing his cousin on the spot.
According to another case registered on the report of Khadim Shah, a resident of Dapu Koroona, he along with his brother Jamshed were at their shop selling cloths at Takhatbhai bazaar when a young man came there and purchased cloth.
He said that when they demanded money from the customer, he started quarrelling and later opened fire, killing his brother Jamshed. A case registered on report of Wilayat Shah at Shergarh Police Station said that a young woman was killed over a petty domestic issue at her house.
According to a case of road accident registered at Takhtbhai Police Station, Saeed Rehman said that he along with Gul Khan was going to Mazdoorabad on a motorbike when a speedy truck hit them on Mardan-Malakand road near Rehman mills. As a result, Gul Khan died on the spot.
