Shahbaz approves design of Multan metro bus stations
Directs authorities to use Pakistani material in construction of stations

MULTAN: Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has approved the design for the Multan metro bus stations.
According to Multan Division Commissioner Capt (retd) Asadullah Khan, the CM ordered the relevant authorities to use only Pakistani companies material in the construction of metro bus stations.
He said the CM decision would boost the local industry and manufacturers.He said the CM has decided that all stations should be a model.He told officials that the CM has directed the authorities to purchase everything from local manufacturers.
Metro project Chief Engineer Sabir Khan Sadozai said some 21 metro stations would be established on the route, including 14 elevated and seven on ground.He said a pedestrian bridge would be constructed at each station and total 21 bridges would be built and 21 escalators would be erected. He also described detail of the stations.
