OKARA: On the orders of the district police officer, Gogera police registered a case against PTI MPA Masood Shafqat Rubera and 46 others on the charges of trespassing on the house of a widow and aerial firing at Fatehpur village.
In an application to the district police officer, widow Noor Akhtar alleged that MPA Masood Shafqat with his 46 accomplices, including Zahoor Abbas, Rab Nawaz, Yasir Nawaz, Salman Nawaz, Bilawal Nawaz, Faiz Nawaz and Akram, entered her house and resorted to aerial firing on June 23. She said that the accused also threatened her ailing father. Later, the accused went to her agri land where they also resorted to aerial firing. She said that she went to the police station but police allegedly refused to register a case. A case has been registered under Sections 452, 447, 506-B, 511, 337H2, 148 and 149 of the PPC and 7 ATA.
