Remand of three accused extended for recovery of weapons

GUJRANWALA: Anti-Terrorism Court No-1 Judge Imtiaz Ahmad Chaudhry on Tuesday extended physical remand of three accused for six days in a case of killing MPA Rana Shamshad Ali Khan and his son.
Kamoke Sadr police produced the accused - Awais, Shahbaz and Saifullah – in the court and sought extension in their remand for search of co-accused and recovery of weapons. The judge extended the remand and adjourned the hearing.
TWO CONVICTED: Additional Sessions Judge Liaqat Ali on Tuesday awarded life imprisonment to two minors in different murder cases. In the first case, Yasir had killed child Sheroze. In the second case, Amir Hamza had shot dead Arshad.
Man gets death on two counts for double murder

GUJRANWALA: Additional Sessions Judge Malik Altaf on Tuesday awarded death on two counts and Rs 600,000 fine to Ghazanfar in a double murder case registered with Jinnah Road police.
The prosecution said that the convict had gunned down Nusrat Bibi and Mubashir over a monetary dispute at Khokhar Kay on July 4, 2013.
