Remand of SHO extended in case of killing student

FAISALABAD: Magistrate Muhammad Asif on Monday extended remand of People’s Colony SHO Faryad Cheema for four days in a case of killing a class 10 student in a fake encounter.
Police produced the accused SHO before the magistrate, who extended his remand and directed police to produce him again in the court on July 3. The SHO had allegedly killed Farhan Ahmad and injured his friend Fahad in a fake encounter when they were playing with a toy pistol at Madina Town.
WOMAN CONFESSES TO KILLING TWO KIDS: A woman has confessed to killing her two children.
Salma Bibi, a resident of Chak 257/RB, had allegedly killed her children Mubashir (7) and Mafia (6) on Sunday. Dijkot police arrested Salma on suspicion. During preliminary investigation, Salma confessed to committing the crime. She said that she killed her children owing to aggressive and insulting attitude of her husband Abdul Shakoor.
32 OUTLAWS ARRESTED: Police arrested 32 outlaws, including 17 proclaimed offenders, during a drive against the anti-social elements here. The raiding parties also recovered heroin and charas from them. The CPO vowed to make Faisalabad a crime free city.
