Gwadar attack victims laid to rest in Haripur
HARIPUR: Two victims of the Gwadar terrorists attack were laid to rest at ancestral graveyards here on Monday.
Naval Commando Muhammad Abbas Khan, a resident of Khalabat Township, was martyred while clearing the Pearl Continental Hotel building from terrorists.
He was laid to rest with state honours in his ancestral graveyard.
District Nazim Akhtar Nawaz Khan, local government representatives and people from various walks of life attended the funeral.
The second martyr was Syed Awais Ali Shah, son of Syed Mehmood Shah, a resident of Toot Maira village. He was laid to rest at a well-attended funeral.
At the time of attack, Awais was on duty as security supervisor and was gunned down in a bid to engage the terrorists at the main entrance to the PC Hotel.
