DASKA: Sindh High Court Bar Association President and the lawyers’ delegation visited Daska where they condoled with relatives and children of the late President of Daska Bar Association Rana Khalid and advocate Irfan Ahmed.
SHCBA President Muhammad Naeem and the lawyers’ delegation also called on Daska bar association office-bearers and discussed with them the details about the case.
CONVICTED: Additional Sessions Judge Ijaz Ahmed Butt awarded 18 months jail and imposed Rs20,000 fine on a narcotics dealer in the city area. City police had arrested accused Muhammad Khan with 1,500g charas one year ago.
ABDUCTED: Three accused, including two women, abducted a girl in the Bombanwala police limits. A young girl was going to bazaar for shopping when accused Shamas and his woman companions intercepted, forced her to board a car and took her to some unknown place.
ARRESTED: Motra police have arrested two proclaimed offenders from different areas. After an anonymous tip-off that Faisal and Naseer were hidden somewhere, police raided their hideouts and arrested them with illegal weapons.
DROWNS: A two-year old baby drowned in a tub in the city area. Zulfiqar was playing in the bathroom when suddenly he fell down in the tub and died at the spot.
