OKARA: Two blind girls died and their four blind sisters suffered burns in a fireworks explosion at Mandar Mohallah, Haveli Lakha, on Monday.
Abdul Sattar, father of eight blind daughters, had been doing the business of firecrackers and other items for the last 20 years.
On the day of the incident, the blind sisters were preparing firecrackers in their house when they suddenly exploded. As a result, Fauzia Bibi, 20, and Rabia Bibi, 13, were killed on the spot while Anam, Zohra, Sanam and Ameer Bibi suffered serious injuries. The injured sisters were shifted to a hospital.

OKARA: An 11-year-old boy was killed in a jubilant firing during a marriage function at Chak 39/4-L on Sunday night.

As a result, Sami Altaf was killed on the spot.
