Locals deprived of valuables

DASKA: Locals were deprived of cash and valuables on Monday in Motra police limits.
Yaser and his mother were on the way to their home when two robbers intercepted them and snatched cash, a cellphone and gold ornaments from them.
Amanullah of Motra village was sleeping at his house when ten dacoits barged into the house and took the family members hostage. The robbers took away cash, a cellphone and gold ornaments.
BOOKED: Police registered a case against some people on charges of protecting two proclaimed offenders (POs) on Monday.
On a tip-off, the police raided a locality to arrest POs Imran and Yaseer, who were present in the locality. Before the arrival of the police, accused Hussain, Imran and Rizwan informed the POs about the police raid and the POs fled the area.
POWER THEFT: Police Monday registered cases against four accused on charges of stealing electricity.
On a tip-off, the Wapda SDO along with police raided a locality and found Abdul Rasheed, Kashif, Sultan and Abbas stealing electricity.
