MARDAN: The police registered a case against three persons for allegedly beating up a lady doctor and her driver in Katlang town. Reporting the incident to the police, Dr Tauheed Begum said that she was running a maternity home in Katlang bazaar. She said that a coach was parked outside her clinic when she reached there. She added that her driver asked the coach driver to remove his vehicle, but he refused to do so and started quarrelling with her driver. She said she tried to patch up things, but she was also roughed up by three persons seated in the coach. Tauheed Begum said she also lost Rs10,000 and earrings during the scuffle. The police registered the case against the accused under section 457 and 354 of the Pakistan Penal Code.
