PTI leaders blasts Chitral MNA, MPA’s ‘tirades’
CHITRAL: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) local leaders on Saturday said that the elected representatives from the area were out to disturb the peaceful atmosphere of the district through irresponsible tirades.
“MNA Maulana Abdul Akbar Chitrali and MPA Hidayatur Rahman are playing politics over alleged illegal appointment of Class-IV in the district. The remarks of the MNA and MPA against the Kalash community was condemnable,” Abdul Latif, PTI district president, told reporters. PTI leader Sajjad Ahmed and other local leaders were also present on the occasion.
Vowing to move the court, he said the MNA was representative of the whole district. “The MNA should try to protect the interests of the district in the centre instead of involving petty issues like appointment of Class-IV employees,” he went on to add.
The PTI government was committed to promoting tourism in the province, he said and accused the MNA of creating hurdles to development of the district. He asked the MNA not to interfere in affairs of the provincial department as the PTI government would not compromise on merit.
