KARACHI: Javeria and Hadiya clinched girls doubles under-19 title in TCBY-Mrs Fields National Junior Under-19 and Under-16 Badminton Championships at Sunset Badminton Club here on Friday.
The duo defeated Rosheen and Ayesha in the summit clash 21-10, 21-16.
Duaa and Fareeha claimed Under-16 girls doubles title, overpowering Javeria and Maryam in the final 21-17, 21-10.
In Under-19 girls singles semi-finals, Javeria Tahir defeated Aisha Rafee 21-04, 21-11, while Rosheen defeated Syeda Aisha 21-06, 21-11.
Maryam and Duaa cruised into the climax of Under-16 girls singles, beating Fareeha Javed 21-11, 21-13 and Javeria 21-10, 21-05, respectively, in semi-finals.
