Rawalpindi finish 5th in Punjab Games

RAWALPINDI: Rawalpindi division showcased excellent performance at the 72th Punjab Games and finished fifth in the event by clinching a total of 50 medals including 14 gold medals after competing in different sports disciplines.
Divisional Sports Officer Rawalpindi Malik Waqar Hussain while talking to APP congratulated the players and hoped that in future they will perform with the same courage at national and international levels and bring more laurels for the country.
Rawalpindi clinched 14 gold, 13 silver and 23 bronze medals at the Games recently concluded in Lahore.
