Siraj sworn in as JI amir for 2nd term
LAHORE: Senator Sirajul Haq reiterated that 2018 elections were engineered to bring into power the loyalists of the actual rulers. Apparently, the government comprised of political people but actual power was in the hands of non-political masters sitting behind, he said while addressing a ceremony wherein he took oath as JI ameer for the second 5-year term at Mansoora Tuesday.
Terming the PTI government a complete failure and only maintaining the status quo, Sirajul Haq alleged the federal cabinet comprised of a dozen ministers loyalists of Pervez Musharraf and carrying out western agenda in the country. He said all military rulers from Ayub Khan up to Pervez Musharraf, had destroyed democratic system and institutions, Constitution, parliament, judiciary and country’s image only to perpetuate their rule and implement colonial agenda. Sirajul Haq said in case of Indian attack masses would stand by the armed forces, but stressed upon the government to refrain from killing its own people with the whip of price spiral. He said the JI wanted the rule of law in the country.
