75 POs arrested in Haripur

HARIPUR: Police claimed to have arrested 75 proclaimed offenders wanted in different criminal activities and also recovered drugs.

The police through a press release said that 20 search and strike operations were conducted in different parts of the district during March and 142 alleged drug pushers were arrested.

During the actions, 91.5kg charas, 6.131 grams heroin, and 2218 bottles of homemade liquor were also seized.

The press release says further that 94 cases were registered against the occupants and owners of important buildings including banks, private schools and hospitals for not making proper security arrangements.
