Two commit suicide in Haripur

HARIPUR: Two persons committed suicide in the district on Saturday, the police said.
In Khoi Nara village of Khanpur, a cancer patient hanged himself with a ceiling fan. SHO Khanpur Ijaz Khan said that Abdul Waheed, 40, was a cancer patient for the last several years and was fed up with costly treatment. "He was alone in his room Friday night and he hanged himself. Next morning his family found his body hanging from the ceiling fan and informed the police," he added.
Also, Muhammad Waheed, 30, had altercation with his sister-in-law (brother's wife) over a minor issue of making breakfast and later the angry man committed suicide by consuming anti-rodent chemicals.
