Qadri to address OIC moot in Riyadh
LAHORE: Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Chief Dr Tahirul-Qadri will address the two-day meeting of Organization of Islamic Countries (OIC) in Riyadh on April 09 where he has been specially invited to address on counter-terrorism.
A PAT spokesman said Saturday that during his address Dr Qadri would recommend the Muslim world various suggestions to counter the growing extremism and necessary reforms in curriculum in this context.
He will also reply to questions of the participants at a special session.
Dr Qadri has published over 40 books on counter-terrorism and peace curriculum, including three books especially written for OIC members.
These books will be presented to delegates of
OIC meeting, said the spokesman.
In 2010, Dr Qadri issued 600 pages Fatwa against terrorism and suicide attacks, which has so far been translated in 13 different languages; and was widely received in USA, Central Asia and Europe.
