Iranian consulate’s bank account closed in Quetta

QUETTA: The bank account of the Iranian Consulate General in Quetta has been closed for undisclosed reasons.

Talking to The News officials of the Iranian Consulate General in Quetta confirmed the closure of the account but said the bank has not informed them of any reasons for the action. He said the action has resulted in suspending the issuance of Iranian visas, as the fees for the process has to be deposited in the bank.
