Women-only buses to ply in Mardan today

MARDAN: The women-only pink bus service set to ply on roads in Mardan today (Thursday).

A private company had been given the contract and project was stated to be completed after a delay of one year.

“We are ready to inaugurate the project today,” said an official, adding, the process to select an operator for Abbottabad was also in final stages.

He said the project would go a long way in facilitating the women, who suffered due to lack of transportation facilities.
