Bilawal, Zardari yet to file answers to NAB questions
ISLAMABAD: The Combined Investigation Team of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Rawalpindi is still awaiting a response from former President Asif Ali Zardari and Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari to the questioners which were handed to them in fake bank accounts case.
The CIT of the NAB Rawalpindi headed by Director General NAB Irfan Mangi had handed over the questioners to former President Asif Ali Zardari and Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on March 20 when they appeared before the CIT with regard to fake bank account scam and asked them to reply within 10 days.
The CIT interrogated father and son separately and handed them over separate questionnaires containing 54 questions each. However, according to sources in the NAB, the CIT is still awaiting the response as the deadline of 10 days has already been expired.
Sources close to legal team of the PPP leaders said the questioners need comprehensive answers which take time.
