Customs to feature in Bangkok hockey event

KARACHI: Pakistan Customs hockey team will participate in the Pakistan Day Cup seven-a-side tournament, to be held in Bangkok, Thailand from April 5-7.
The event is being organised by Pakistan Overseas Association to commemorate the Pakistan Day. They have been holding this tournament for the past several years.
Customs have thrice won the tournament, while Lahore-based Pak Heroes’ Club won the event once. Thailand’s domestic hockey team won two times.
The Customs team comprises 14 members including officials. Former Pakistan international player Mohammad Ali will be coach of the team. They will face leading domestic teams from Thailand.
