Daska lawyers stage protest

DASKA: Lawyers of Daska staged a protest demonstration on Monday against the police brutality.
They started the protest at 9 am and ended at 11 am.
They also took out a rally from the assistant commissioner office and raised slogans against the police.
MAN MUGGED: A man was deprived of cash and valuables on Monday.
Three robbers intercepted Muhammad Ashraf in the city area and snatched cash, a mobile phone and gold ornaments from him.
DRUG PEDDLERS HELD: City police Monday arrested two drug peddlers.
On a tip-off, police arrested Ilyas and Mobeen Ahmed and recovered 22 bottles of liquor from their possession.
