Bilawal to hold train march from Rohri to Pindi
SUKKUR: Senior Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Khursheed Shah on Sunday revealed that party chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will carry out a train march from Rohri to Rawalpindi.
While addressing PPP stalwarts in Sukkur Khursheed Shah lashed out at the federal government, alleging for constituting such economic policies which have miserably failed. “People are in anguish due to unsuccessful economic policies devised by the government. We have decided to commence the train march in order to save the public from this torture,” the senior PPP leader said.
Khursheed Shah in his address expressed his views on the loan taken from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in the recent past. He alleged Premier Imran Khan’s government of achieving no progress in the last six months of their tenure. “Prime Minister Imran Khan himself vowed to commit suicide rather than taking loan from IMF. He is the first prime minister to reach out to IMF himself. Parliament was by-passed on the matter. A country where Parliament is not supreme shall remain surrounded with severe troubles,” added Khursheed Shah.
The senior politician also hinted at a possible union between Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP).
Stating his intentions for uniting both PML-N and PPP former opposition leaders in the National Assembly said that the country needs an alliance between both parties. “Opposition has united in the past and will do so in future to voice for public issues. We can form an alliance with PML-N and other parties,” concluded the PPP leader.
