DASKA: A youth was shot at and injured at Jamkey on Saturday.
Five unidentified accused entered the house of Muhammad Younis and shot at and injured him.
LAWYER’S MEMBERSHIP CANCELLED: The Daska Bar Association has cancelled the membership of Taj Mahmood Warraich advocate, the brother of SHO Shahzad Warraich, and banned his entry in the bar room.
The action was taken after the murder of two advocates, Rana Khalid and Muhammad Irfan, by the SHO. Meanwhile, according to a press release issued by the Daska Bar Association, a protest camp would be set-up in front of the AC office and a protest rally would be taken out from the AC office on June 9.
ATTEMPTS SUICIDE: A girl attempted suicide in the City police area on Saturday.
The girl attempted suicide by taking acid over a domestic issue. She was rushed to a hospital in critical condition.
