PM, COAS congratulate all on PSL success

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister and 1992 World Cup winning captain Imran Khan paid special tributes to all those involved in making the Pakistan Super League PSL-4 a real success in every definition of a successful mega venture.
In his tweet, the PM said, “Congratulations to PCB, all the organisers and security forces for holding a successful PSL extravaganza in Pakistan. Congratulations to Quetta Gladiators & their manager & my friend Viv Richards on their win. Insha-Allah, the next PSL will be held entirely in Pakistan.”
Chief of Army Staff Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa also congratulated all on successful organisation of PSL cricket matches.
In a tweet, the ISPR said, "The COAS congrats all on successful organisation of PSL, especially PCB, all teams, organisers, administration, Pak Rangers Sindh, Sindh Police, LEAs and people of Karachi. All praises to Almighty Allah, may Allah continue His blessings upon Pakistan."
Showers of praise have started pouring in from all corners of the world.
In his tweet, the International Cricket Council (ICC) Chief Executive Officer David Richardson said, “I think they (Pakistan) have done a tremendous job and the level of comfort is growing all the time among foreign players.”The star of the PSL IV show Shane Watson in his tweet says, “It has been such an amazing five weeks or so with my time in Karachi being the absolute highlight. What a way to finish things off last….”Pakistan team and winning Quetta Gladiator captain Sarfraz Ahmad hailed the role played by security forces, Sindh and Federal governments, foreign players and Karachi crowd for making the PSL IV a real success.
Later talking to The News, Javed Afridi, Peshawar Zalmi owner said he was happier on Quetta win. “I have shared these views with all Quetta players including their owner Nadeem Umar. Possible I would not have been so happy on my team’s success. Quetta deserves the win and no one is happier than Javed Afridi.”
