In February alone, Pakistan’s inflation rose to more than eight percent. Chicken prices are soaring high and are now beyond people’s reach. No one would have thought that Naya Pakistan would be so hard on the pocket. What are ordinary people, who live from paycheck to paycheck, supposed to do? Living in Pakistan has become so difficult for people. The PTI used to claim that it would introduce pro-people policies, but it hasn’t delivered on its promises.
The finance minister, instead of blaming the past government for all the problems, should come up with proper strategies to tackle the economic crisis. The situation has become so bad and we are relying on the government to do something about it.
