Jang Group, TSG sign deal for World Soccer Stars
KARACHI: Jang Group and Geo on Saturday signed a partnership deal with the organisers of the World Soccer Stars 2019, TouchSky Group, here at the Movenpick Hotel.
Jang Group Managing Director Sarmad Ali and TSG chief Ahmer Kunwar signed the deal. The signing ceremony was embellished by the presence of former Spain and Barcelona legend Carles Puyol.
Puyol landed here on Saturday for promotion activities relating to the World Soccer Stars 2019.
"It's for the entire process," Ahmer told 'The News' after signing the partnership deal.
The parties will work together during the whole process relating to the World Soccer Stars 2019 and the way steps will be taken for football development in Pakistan. Efforts will be made to tap talent at the grassroots level and hone that to develop a strong base.
World Soccer Stars 2019 is a venture of the TSG in which a couple of football matches involving ten global stars will be held next month at Karachi and Lahore.
The TSG also plans to work for football development in the country. It is close to signing a deal with the newly-elected Pakistan Football Federation (PFF).
