A booming industry

Newspost

March 16, 2019

Prime Minister Imran Khan on Thursday launched a new online visa system for foreign tourists. With the introduction of the online facility, tourists seeking to obtain visas to Pakistan will be able to do so within the comforts of their home, without having to visit either the Pakistan embassy or the consulate. However, opening the e-visa facility doesn’t ensure that tourism in Pakistan will increase indefinitely. PM Khan still has to make sure the country is safe to visit. Necessary improvements in the tourism industry can bring a great change to the economic status of the country.

Tourists have a wide range of budgets and tastes, and a wide variety of resorts and hotels can be developed to cater for them. A booming tourism industry can also help build a good global image of Pakistan.
