Man kills sister in Haripur

HARIPUR: A man allegedly gunned down his real sister over unknown reasons in the hilly area of Khanpur tehsil, the police official said here on Wednesday.

Police quoted the family sources as saying that Naveeda Bibi, 19, of Bandha Makhniyal village, was busy in preparing dinner on Tuesday night when her elder brother Ibrar Ahmed had an altercation with her.

The angry man allegedly picked up 12 bore shotgun and opened fire on his younger sister, killing her on the spot. The police registered the case and started an investigation.
