Polish hockey team to visit Pakistan in mid-April
KARACHI: Polish hockey team will visit Pakistan in the middle of April to play four matches against the development squad in four different cities, PHF sources informed ‘The News’ on Tuesday.
The sources said that the dates of the matches and cities where matches would be played are yet to be decided. Through the series, PHF wants to test the capabilities of all emerging players, the sources added. It has also been learnt that new team management would be appointed for these four matches.
Meanwhile, the 65th national championship will be played in Lahore from March 27-April 8, in which all PHF units and departments would participate. The details of the national championship will be announced in a couple of days. National Bank of Pakistan are the defending champions.
