OKARA: The strike of the DCO Office staffers against the lawyers entered the second day here on Tuesday.
Addressing the protesting staffers, All Pakistan Clerks Association (Apca) local president Nazeer Ahmad warned of expanding the strike throughout the district if the issue was not resolved till today.
On Monday, lawyer Zulfiqar along with his colleagues allegedly beat DCO Office watchman Zafar Iqbal when he did not allow him to enter the premises with his motorcycle.
Meanwhile, DBA president Ch Muhammad Aslam Javed met DCO Qaisar Saleem and asked him to play his role to settle issue. The DCO assured him of his best cooperation. Later, the bar president met Apca local president Nazeer Ahmad to resolve the issue but failed to convince him.
