FAISALABAD: The News Education Expo-15 was held at Garvaish Luxury Hotel here on Tuesday.
The expo was inaugurated by MNA Khalida Mansoor. In her brief speech, she appreciated the Jang Media Group for holding an informative education expo for the second time in Faisalabad. She said Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif and Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif attached immense importance to promotion of education. She said the federal government was spending billions of rupees for the promotion of education in the country. The MNA said the provincial government was spending over Rs 194 billion on education, including Rs 78 billion for development of educational institutions and Rs 14.5 billion for higher education.
Jang Media Group Marketing Manager Irfan Mughal said that over 40 educational institutions participated in the expo and provided information to thousands of visitors and answered their queries. Thousands of students, their parents, educationists and elite of Faisalabad thronged The News Education Expo-15. After successful expos in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar and Faisalabad, the Jang Media Group intends to organise the first expo in Multan on June 4.
