Ammad out of Hampshire Squash Open

KARACHI: Pakistan’s Ammad Fareed lost in the semi-finals of the $5500 Hampshire Squash Open in Southampton, England, on Sunday.
Third seed Ammad was beaten by top seed Rui Soares from Portugal 6-11, 11-5, 4-11, 9-11 in 45 minutes. He had defeated sixth seed Farkas Balazs of Hungary 11-9, 11-8, 9-11, 9-11, 11-7 in 55 minutes in the quarter-final.
