ACE recovers Rs10.5m from accused

GUJRANWALA: The Anti-Corruption Establishment Friday recovered Rs10.5 million from the accused involved in salary fraud case of Central Hail Gujrat.
ACE Regional Director Sheikh Farid said that accused Javed Hussain, assistant accounts officer Gujrat; Sohail Arshad, clerk of central jail Gujrat; Syed Qasim Raza, assistant accounts officer; M Shabbir, assistant accounts officer; M Asif, assistant accounts officer, and Babar Hussain were arrested.
They had allegedly withdrawn million of rupees from the salaries' accounts of on-duty and retired officials of the district jail Gujrat. During investigation, allegations against them were proved.
