Red alert at sensitive installations in Multan
MULTAN: The city district administration imposed the security plan in view of the current situation and ordered a red alert at sensitive installations on Thursday.
Deputy Commissioner Mudassar Riaz Malik chaired a high-level meeting here to discuss the current security situation in the country on the directions of Punjab government. The district administration has started digging out trenches in the populous areas and the administration has asked the citizens to take refuge in those trenches in case of an emergency situation.
He said that Pakistan armed forces had taught an exemplary lesson to the enemy and the citizens were standing with the armed forces. He said the district administration had ordered establishing protective bunkers in the educational institutions and shopping plazas. The administration has directed all the departments concerned to stock water and fuel to combat any emergency.
