Nawaz health is okay: Chohan
LAHORE : Punjab Information Minister Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Chohan while talking to media outside Punjab Assembly said that Nawaz Sharif’s health was alright but his intentions were not good. To a question, he said those who were now complaining about lack of facilities in Punjab hospitals were themselves responsible for the issue.
Fayyaz-ul-Hassan went on to say that the statement of former PM Shahid Khaqan Abbasi had taken him by surprise in which he was raising complaint about the missing facilities, technology in Punjab hospitals that were required for Nawaz Sharif’s treatment.
He said the former PM should be ashamed of himself for issuing such statements as while spending the entire last decade in power, his government couldn’t set up a single hospital that could provide treatment to his leadership.
Chohan said in reality, the Sharifs had no interest in Pakistan and they felt uncomfortable here. He advised Nawaz Sharif to avoid eating beef Kabaabs, chips, samosas as he had been admitted to Jinnah Hospital. He said the Punjab government had made five medical boards for the treatment of Nawaz Sharif and it would constitute further boards if needed. He would be provided medical treatment with complete care and respect.
The minister further said that all the five boards constituted for the treatment of Nawaz had agreed that 'his matters are okay' and there existed some issues in kidneys. Chohan stated that troubles faced by Nawaz were similar to everyone above the age of 60.
He went on to say that Nawaz Sharif was eating Khataais (cookies) made up of Desi Ghee whose constant use could even put a young person in trouble if he ate them constantly for four days.
He said the Punjab government was capable of treating Nawaz Sharif but it couldn’t fulfil his aspirations adding both Nawaz and his daughter Marium Nawaz were making fun of themselves as sometimes they expressed the wish to go to hospital and sometimes aspired to go back to jail. He added that these tactics wouldn’t help them anymore.
Fayyaz to another question stated that for last six months, he, Sheikh Rasheed and Fawad Chaudhry had been categorically stating that there would be no deal with Nawaz. He said it was only the claim of PML-N leadership and it should be asked over it.
The issue between Naeem-ul-Haq and Fawad Chaudhry was a subject related to the central government but it would be addressed amicably, he concluded.
