Iran teams beat Pakistan outfits in Snooker semis
KARACHI: Both Pakistan outfits crashed in the semi-finals of the 3rd Asian Snooker Team Event 2015 which concluded in Kish Island, Iran, on Sunday.According to the information made available by the Pakistan Billiards and Snooker Association (PBSA), the hosts knocked over both Pakistani teams to make it an all-Iran final.

KARACHI: Both Pakistan outfits crashed in the semi-finals of the 3rd Asian Snooker Team Event 2015 which concluded in Kish Island, Iran, on Sunday.
According to the information made available by the Pakistan Billiards and Snooker Association (PBSA), the hosts knocked over both Pakistani teams to make it an all-Iran final.
Iran B defeated Pakistan A, comprising Mohammad Asif and Mohammad Sajjad, 3-1 by the frame scores of 114-0, 53-65, 72-49, 67-55.
Iran A overpowered Pakistan B, featuring Hamza Akbar and Shahram Changezi, by an identical margin with the frame scores of 123-5, 36-68, 62-1, 74-32.
In the quarter-finals held on late Saturday evening, Pakistan B had edged out India B 3-2 with the frame scores of 87-1, 59-69, 36-63, 86-1, 61-50.
Pakistan A had earned direct qualification in the semi-finals by winning all their three league matches.
The four players and referees Shabbir Hussain Daruwala and Naved Kapadia will be returning home on Monday (today).
