Qureshi asks India to come out of utopia
MULTAN: Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said that India should not live in utopia and underestimate Pakistan. The premier has sent a brave and strong message to the Indian leadership in response to their threatening statements. The whole nation is backing the PM on his narrative against India. He was addressing the inaugural ceremony of PIA's first flight from Multan to Sharjah at Multan International Airport. He said that the Saudi investment worth $20 billion dollars was the result of the PM's efforts. More Saudi investment is expected in the coming days. The UAE is deeply interested to invest more in Pakistan. Pakistan is facilitating 60 countries in issuance of visa on arrival. He was expecting arrival of a large number of tourists in the next five years, which never ever had arrived in Pakistan in the past, he added. The Malaysian prime minister visiting Pakistan in the coming days and he would also bring big investment. He said that PTI government had chalked out an integrated strategy to enable the national institutions to stand on their own feet. He said the government will restore the national image of PIA. He said that PTI had set a direction to rectify 70 years blunders in six months rule. PIA needs to rescue from deficit. The current deficit of PIA has reached Rs450 billion due to blunders committed by the past governments. The PTI has assigned task to Air Marshal Arshad Aziz to revamp PIA. He urged the PIA employees for cooperation in restoration of the national carrier's image. The PML-N was trying to privatise it but PTI will boost its image. He said Multan-Sharjah direct flight would make international travel easy for the south Punjab people. The flight will operate twice a week on Wednesday and Friday, he added.
