PAT rally against JIT report on Model Town incident

OKARA: Activists of the Pakistan Awami Tehrik (PAT) on Saturday took out a rally against the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) report on the massacre of Model Town, Lahore.
The PAT members gathered in front of the Okara Press Club and chanted slogans against the JIT report on Model Town, Lahore, incident released by the Punjab government. PAT Punjab VP Qari Mazhar Fareed, Mirza Khalid Mehmood, Hafeez Qadri and others addressed the rally and blamed that the JIT report was false.
5 HELD FOR GRAFFITI: Police on Saturday arrested five persons on the charge of graffiti in various incidents.
The police arrested Muhammad Iqbal of 36A/4L village, Zahid Shah of 27/4L, Khalid of 18/1L, Shahid Raza of 25/2R and Hakim Munir. The police have registered separate cases.
DBA RALLY AGAINST DASKA INCIDENT: The District Bar Association members on Saturday took out a rally against the Daska incident.
The rally was led by the bar general secretary Rao Abid Mushtaq and Rana Irfan Afzal. The rally started from the District Complex and marched through various roads to condemn the incident.
2 GAMBLERS HELD: Police on Saturday arrested two gamblers.
On a tip-off, the police raided at 2/1L village and arrested Faizul Hassan and Naeem. The police have registered a case.
