Daska lawyers’ strike continues

DASKA: Lawyers boycotted courts’ proceeding and observed a complete strike on Saturday against the police brutality.
They wore black armbands and demanded exemplary punishment for responsible police officers.
A meeting of lawyers of Daska bar was also held and it was chaired by bar vice president Nabi Ahmed. It was decided that a protest camp would be established on the site where the tragic incident happened and the camp would continue till the decision of the case.
Family deprived of valuables

DASKA: A man and his wife were deprived of cash, gold ornaments and valuables in the Motra police area on Saturday.
Ahmed and his wife were riding a motorcycle, when they were intercepted by three dacoits, who snatched cash, gold ornaments and mobile phones from them.
