Tree plantation at Swabi Women Varsity

SWABI: Prof Dr Khanzadi Fatima Khattak, Vice-chancellor, Women University, Swabi, inaugurated tree plantation drive “Plants for Pakistan”.
Planting a sapling at the lawn of Women University, Swabi, the vice-chancellor urged the faculty members, allied staff and students to vigorously participate in the campaign to make the project a success. She said the university had planned to grow 6,000 seedlings of native species of trees on upland areas of the university, which are covering 268 kanals. In the second phase, she said the campaign would be extended to rest part of the area in which maximum trees would be planted.
