Sahiwal tragedy: Senior civil judge appointed to conduct inquiry

LAHORE: The Senior Civil Judge Shakeel Goraya was on Saturday appointed to conduct a judicial inquiry into the Sahiwal tragedy. The judge has summoned both parties on February 18.

He will submit the inquiry report to the Lahore High Court in a month. The Lahore High Court (LHC) had on Thursday ordered a judicial inquiry into the alleged police encounter and sought a report within 30 days.
