FAISALABAD: The Confucius Institute of University of Agriculture, Faisalabad, is organising a Chinese cultural show on May 31 at 3:30pm at Iqbal Auditorium.
It will be the first show of its kind in the country. The show is meant to bring the people of both the countries more closer. The event will feature art, dance, music and other programmes. Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan (SI) Chairman, CI, UAF will be the chief guest on the occasion. The Confucius Institute has been set up at the UAF a couple of months ago in collaboration with the Xinjiang Agricultural University (XAU), China. It is a step towards bring people of both countries come closer through language learning and knowing the culture of each other.
The institute also enables students and teaching community to learn Chinese to win scholarships in China in many fields of education. The institute will also help the business community learn Chinese to find out new business growth opportunity.
