Addict injures wife, son in acid attack

GUJRANWALA: An addict injured his wife and a seven-month-old son in an acid attack at Qila Mehan Singh on Thursday.
Qaisar, an addict, had contracted marriage with Asma about three years ago. The couple had a son, Sikandar, from the wedlock. Some weeks ago, Asma with her son came to the house of her parents after differences with her husband. On the day of the incident, Qaisar came to the house of his father-in-law and allegedly threw acid on his wife Asma and son Sikandar when they were sleeping. As a result, they received burns. Police have registered a case after arresting the accused.
